Configuring Your Hotmail Spam Settings
Since Bell and Sympatico use Hotmail to handle their e-mail, the same advice on how to
configure spam settings applies to both service providers. When subscribers add the
Renewal Fellowship e-mail addresses <renewalfellowshippcc@gmail.com> and <prayer@renewal-fellowship.ca> to both their "Safe Mailing Lists"
list and their "Safe Senders" list, their e-mails have been delivered ever since.
To find your missing e-mails, do this:
- Login to your Hotmail account at www.hotmail.com with your email address and password.
- Click on "Inbox" and a list will come up.
- Click on "Junk". A list of junk mail will appear and it will include the Renewal Fellowships.
- Check the box beside each e-mail.
- Scroll to the bottom of the junk mail list where a list of options will appear across the bottom.
- Click on "Not Junk". The e-mail will be removed from the junk mail list and come into your inbox.
To make sure that you have the Renewal Fellowship e-mail addresses on both your safe address lists, do this:
- Login to your Hotmail account at www.hotmail.com with your email address and password.
- Click on Options>More options (top right).
- Under the section "Junk e-mail", click on "Safe and blocked senders".
- Click on "Safe Mailing Lists".
- Type <renewalfellowshippcc@gmail.com> and <prayer@renewal-fellowship.ca> in the box and click the "Add to list" button.
- Go back to the the same "Safe and blocked senders", and click on "Safe Senders".
- Type <renewalfellowshippcc@gmail.com> and <prayer@renewal-fellowship.ca> in the box and click the "Add to list" button.
These steps should allow your e-mails to come straight through.
If this advice does not solve the problem, you should telephone your Internet Service Provider's Technical Support line.
